What's in the Sharpe Dozen?
12 professional chef knives that rotate on exchange — a sharp set arrives, the dull set ships back. Plus 2 bonus knives: your choice of 2 offset serrated or 2 custom Sharpe bar knives. The bonus knives stay with you rather than rotating, and we replace them when they're worn. Order one, two, or three dozen depending on your line.
What does it cost?
Plans start at $75 per month. If you're already with a knife rental service, we'll match your current pricing — so switching costs you nothing extra.
We're already under contract with another service. Can we still switch?
No need to cancel just yet — try our knives free for 2 weeks. Run them alongside what you've got and see the difference on your own line. If you want to move over, we'll match your current knife rental service pricing and walk you through the timing so there's no gap in coverage. Just mention it in the form and we'll handle it.
How often do we exchange?
You choose: every week, twice a month, or monthly. Sharp knives arrive by mail on that cycle and you send the dull ones back in the same box — so you always have a sharp set on hand.
Do you serve my area?
Yes — the Sharpe Exchange is a mail-order program, so we ship anywhere in the country. There's no route to wait for and no service area to fall outside of.
Our cooks use their own personal knives and we only keep a few house knives. Does this still work?
Yes. The exchange covers your house knives, and we can sharpen personal knives right alongside them. Add your crew's knives to the same shipment and they'll come back just as sharp — no separate service, no extra trip.
